Complete the registration form and provide evidence that you are a Sophisticated/Wholesale investor.

Receive Opportunities

Once your HoldenCAPITAL Partners account has been established you will be able to browse current Select Loan Investment opportunities.

Review Memorandum

Each Loan Investment is presented via an Information Memorandum which includes: the loan duration, the applicable interest rate offered, the sponsor, type of loan and security, the location of the loan and how the funds will be utilised, and projected investment return.

Complete Selection Form

Once you have reviewed the IM and decided to invest, complete the accompanying Selection Form and transfer your funds to finalise your participation in the Select Loan Investment.

How the Investor Portal works

Review your portfolio

Track all of your current, pending, and repaid investments easily in one place. The Investments page on your Investor Portal will provide you with access to information about your current, pending, and repaid investments, forecasted IRR, current balance, interest paid to date, and the current status of the loan. You can also retrieve loan updates, tax statements, transaction statements, and more through the Loan Updates or Fund Documents tabs respectively.

Review new investments

All new investment opportunities are made available to investors via the Opportunities tab in the Investor Portal.

Once a new opportunity has been released, an email/text will be sent to you. You can then log on to the Investor Portal and view the key details in relation to the transaction. If the opportunity is of interest to you, you can place an “allocation request” in an opportunity, and you will be notified promptly whether your request has been successful or if you are on the waiting list. HCP operates on a transparent ‘first come, first served’ basis.

Select investments

For each investment opportunity presented, you have exclusive access to detailed information about the underlying loan. You can view details about the security property, the Borrower, the project, and other relevant information to help you make an informed decision. All of this information is presented to you in an Information Memorandum (IM) specific to the individual loan.

Once you have reviewed the IM and decided to invest, please complete the accompanying Selection Form and transfer your funds to finalize your participation in the Select Loan Investment. All funds are transferred to HCP’s solicitor trust account with associated trust account receipts uploaded to the Investor Portal.

Your investor profile

View your investor profile and contact information with ease on the investor account page. Here you can view your account overview data, personal information and advise us of any changes necessary, change passwords, reset security questions, and track your login history of the Portal.

Qualified Sophisticated / Wholesale investors are invited to participate in HCP investment opportunities.

HCP Investors typically include Family Offifices, Business Owners, Professional Investors, and SMSF Trustees. All investors must provide evidence that they qualify as a sophisticated / wholesale client in accordance with Chapter 6D or 7 of the Corporations Act 2001.

What makes a sophisticated / wholesale investor?

Product value test

Where the initial amount paid by the investor at the time of investment in a Select Loan Investment is at least $500,000.
The person will remain a wholesale investor even if their investment subsequently falls below $500,000.

For investment less than $500,000, the following tests apply:

Individual wealth test

The person or applicable investment entity has provided a certificate by a qualified accountant stating that the person has net assets of at least $2.5million or gross income for each of the last two financial years of at least $250,000.

Professional investor test

The financial product is provided to a ‘professional investor’ which includes:

  • An Australian financial services licensee;
  • A body regulated by APRA outside of superannuation;
  • A body registered under the Financial Corporations Act 1974;
  • Trustees of superannuation funds, approved deposit funds, pooled superannuation trusts and public sector superannuation schemes under the Superannuation Industry (Supervision) Act 1993 with net assets of at least $10million;
  • A person who controls at least $10million.
